Meet the team

Nytasha Stevens, CLC Since I was a young girl I have loved being around pregnancy and babies. It’s so magical to watch birthing bodies grow and then meet their babies face to face for the 1st time!! It keeps getting better watching that baby get bigger and discover the things around them!! Being a mom of 5 myself with a 21 year age gap between the oldest and youngest, I realize that it’s deeper than maternity shoots and baby shower’s!! That’s why I will always continue to learn and grow in the field of maternal health! I am a birth and postpartum doula, supporting families before and after baby is born! I’m also a certified lactation counselor, and I teach childbirth education by way of HypnoBirthing! As a car seat technician I make sure that your travels with your babies are the safest they can be by installing, and teaching parents how to safely install, their car seats. My goal as a birth worker is to listen, encourage, and support. Oh, and of course get a peek at your baby, but that’s one of many perks of this career that chose me!!
Raegan Gibson founded Sweets and Soirées in 2008 as an outlet for her creativity, her love of the culinary arts and a desire to make beautiful things. While desserts and confectionary delights are her first love and her gateway into the business of food, once in the kitchen, she is as comfortable whipping up a vegetarian barbecue dinner as she is a four course plated meal for her pop-up dinners. No matter the size of the event, her main focus has been providing delicious food that people will talk about long after the event, with an unmatched level of service in an environment where clients easily become more like friends and family. http://www.sweetsandsoirees.com

Tyler D. (she/her) is a postpartum doula serving Richmond, Chesterfield, and Henrico. She offers practical, hands-on support that helps families find their rhythm once baby is home.
As a boy mom of two, Tyler knows how to roll with the beautiful chaos and meet it with calm, clarity, and a side of real talk. Her approach is rooted in care that’s both grounded and intuitive, blending information, encouragement, and the kind of support that truly helps in the early days of parenting.
Tyler is also a crochet artist and painter, which gives her a deep appreciation for uniqueness and beauty—qualities she sees and honors in every family she works with. Whether it’s helping with newborn care, easing recovery, or just making sure you eat a hot meal, her goal is to leave new parents feeling confident, safe, and seen.
She believes postpartum care should feel like an exhale. Let’s build your village one moment at a time.
